[2023/02/26 15:42] Sonja Bikergrrl: So, the head poking round from the tree...
[2023/02/26 15:43] Sonja Bikergrrl: ...it -looks- like a young girl is hiding behind the tree. Young girl height, youthful face, blonde, green eyes, elven features, looking slightly playful. "Oh! You aren't with those nasty green monsters?"
[2023/02/26 15:44] Alicia Frakture: Indeed. Leesha smiles and waves."Hi there."
[2023/02/26 15:44] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "The goblins? No. They're a blight upon the world, a constant nuisance to my people." She wipes the tip of her spear on one of the dead goblin shoulders.
[2023/02/26 15:45] Sonja Bikergrrl: /me whispers: "what'd they say?" "Hi there." "Should we throw more apples?"
[2023/02/26 15:46] Sonja Bikergrrl: "what's that they said? A light on the world?" "Isn't that a dwarf?" "-groan- they have no sense of fun..."
[2023/02/26 15:47] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben rolls their eyes at the claim that dwarves do not have a sense of fun. It's not worth her time to get into a long speil about drunken singing and dancing right now.
[2023/02/26 15:48] Sonja Bikergrrl: Leesha?
[2023/02/26 15:48] Alicia Frakture: Leesha looks at the being. Trees saying that or are there more like you? Nothing personal but we have a friend we need to help
[2023/02/26 15:49] Sonja Bikergrrl: "A friend? What help do they need?" "Thrown apples?" "You and your apples! Shush a minute."
[2023/02/26 15:50] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "The goblins attacked them and knocked her out."
[2023/02/26 15:50] Alicia Frakture: She got cut bad by a goblin and we need to get her to a safe spot, and get her fixed up, and throwing apples wont help
[2023/02/26 15:51] Sonja Bikergrrl: "She does look in a bad way. Maybe you should rest a bit somewhere, or find a healer."
[2023/02/26 15:52] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "That's the trouble... she -is- our healer." Debben frowns. "Do you know if the inside of the manor is safe, or where somewhere we can rest actually is?"
[2023/02/26 15:53] Alicia Frakture: Leesha nods."Indeed, was thinking of getting inside the building."
[2023/02/26 15:54] Sonja Bikergrrl: "Inside the building? Why would you want to be a big stone cave?"
[2023/02/26 15:55] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben just looks flabbergasted at this idea. "Why wouldn't I? The outdoors is hostile to me."
[2023/02/26 15:55] Sonja Bikergrrl: "It's full of those dreadful green monsters." "Best place to rest is somewhere behind the orchard, if you promise to get rid of them, we can keep you safe, more or less."
[2023/02/26 15:55] Sonja Bikergrrl: The girl looks quite horrified at the thoughts of being indoors.
[2023/02/26 15:56] Alicia Frakture: Wait, there are goblins inside the manor?
[2023/02/26 15:57] Sonja Bikergrrl: "They made it their home. They've been acting pretty oddly, actually."
[2023/02/26 15:57] Alicia Frakture: So you need them cleared out?
[2023/02/26 15:58] Sonja Bikergrrl: "Definitely clear them out." "They're horrid little creatures!" "We preferred Granny Weatherwax, she used to come talk with us."
[2023/02/26 15:58] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "I'm generally in favor of taking out a bunch of goblins," she says. "But we should rest first.... what happened to Weatherwax?"
[2023/02/26 15:59] Sonja Bikergrrl: "Bandits came, wrecked the place. Then the place was left for a while, then those things turned up and started collecting apples and lighting fires."
[2023/02/26 16:00] Alicia Frakture: Leesha nods."Okay we can go to a safe spot, get the cleric helped and some rest. After that..."
[2023/02/26 16:00] Sonja Bikergrrl: They suggest a place a few hundred yards behind the orchard, other side of the house.
[2023/02/26 16:01] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "After that we'll figure out how to deal with this many goblins at once," she muses, looking over the structure of the house. She has an idea, but it might not leave a whole lot behind after.
[2023/02/26 16:02] Sonja Bikergrrl: It'll take at least a day, ideally two, of complete rest for the woman to recover.
[2023/02/26 16:03] Alicia Frakture: Leesha nods and picks the cleric up and carries her to the safe spot."We can set up a tent and rest. I think a fire would just get goblin attention."
[2023/02/26 16:04] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Time to plan, and see how edible these apples are. "Agreed. We can plan out what we can do to confuse these goblins too."
[2023/02/26 16:04] Sonja Bikergrrl: They look even more aghast at the idea of lighting a fire. Time passes, the sun rises and falls, a few patrols rove the area but are often sent running by volleys of apples. HP and spell points are recovered.
[2023/02/26 16:05] Alicia Frakture: Leesha looks at them."No I meant we should not have a fire."
[2023/02/26 16:06] Sonja Bikergrrl: The apples, by the way, are more than edible, possibly the best apples you ever tasted.
[2023/02/26 16:06] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Once they're out of earshot (at least out of dwarven earshot), "I was planning to smoke out these goblins to avoid a brutal room to room fight." She clutches her spear. "As much as I know my way around a stick, there are a lot of ways for that fight to go poorly if we end up outnumbered."
[2023/02/26 16:07] Sonja Bikergrrl: it's one way, maybe?
[2023/02/26 16:08] Alicia Frakture: True, but aren't we supposed to get some thing from inside there and if the smoking goes wrong it might burn the place down
[2023/02/26 16:09] Sonja Bikergrrl: that's a very good point, the girls aren't likely to be too pleased at a huge fire breaking out
[2023/02/26 16:09] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "We were supposed to talk with Granny and get pies." She holds up the apples. "Probably these. Maybe she's got a recipe or a spice mix left behind. "
[2023/02/26 16:10] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Wish we knew how many goblins, but...." she develops a vicious grin. "Maybe we rig up some spike and stonefall traps outside the doors, lure them out and seige the place."
[2023/02/26 16:10] Sonja Bikergrrl: Your travelling companion pipes up. "And I'm trying to find a tract... it'll do no good it it gets burned!"
[2023/02/26 16:10] Alicia Frakture: If only we had some way to just scare them out of the place.
[2023/02/26 16:11] Sonja Bikergrrl: like some sort of illusion backed by volleys of missiles
[2023/02/26 16:12] Alicia Frakture: Leesha nods
[2023/02/26 16:13] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "A dragons roar, perhaps. Or the sound of an approaching army...." She considers. "Trying to spook them could work, but we'd need to get the leader to think the place is haunted enough to threaten them."
[2023/02/26 16:15] Sonja Bikergrrl: Something to think on and sleep on! Perhaps next time we tune in you'll have an awesome plan!
[2023/02/26 16:15] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: ( I think the Game Mistress is unimpressed with my plans so far, Mecha )
[2023/02/26 16:15] Sonja Bikergrrl: Not much of a cliff hanger admittedly but it's getting late and Monday approaches too fast
[2023/02/26 16:16] Sonja Bikergrrl: (It's a good plan... maybe there's allies close that could hel)
